Plumas Corp, in partnership with the Plumas National Forest, will hos ta community meetings — for the PNF Tributaries Forest Recovery Project. The project is in the initial stages of the planning process and is intended to restore and recover National Forest System lands heavily impacted by the 2021 Dixie Fire and the 2019 Walker Fire. The Tributaries Forest Recovery Project area covers 163,248 acres from Grizzly Ridge to Lake Davis and up to Antelope Lake, Taylor Lake and Lights Creek. The project area does not include any communities or populated areas.
These meeting is open to the public. Community members are invited to ask questions, learn more about the project and provide input on the scope and priorities of the project.
